Cultivate a bhavana (feeling) of unconditional devotion and surrender to Lord Shiva and Devi Parvati, seeking their blessings with humility and gratitude. The intention should be spiritual upliftment and connection, rather than material gain.

Common Mistakes

Common mistakes include performing the pooja in a hurried or distracted manner, lack of cleanliness in the pooja area or body, using inappropriate or stale offerings, not understanding the sequence of rituals, neglecting the preliminary Ganesha Pooja, and a lack of proper reverence or focus during the process. Another mistake is treating the ritual as a mere formality without the accompanying spiritual devotion (Bhavana).
