Rudra Abhishekam
Rudra Abhishekam is a sacred Shiva worship ritual centered on abhishek of the Shivling with mantra recitation, especially from Shri Rudram in traditional practice.
Common Procedure
- Begin with purification and sankalp.
- Offer water, milk, and other approved dravyas to the Shivling.
- Chant Om Namah Shivaya and, where possible, Rudram verses.
- Offer bilva leaves, flowers, dhupa, and dipa.
- Conclude with aarti, prayer, and distribution of prasad.
